Signup for the Creators' Corner is now open. Applications will be closed December 20th and acceptances will be sent out December 24th.
Arisia invites you to become a part of our Creators' Corner. The Corner is designed for creators to showcase and sell their works, and allow members to meet the people who created them. This can be art, books (self-published or start-up presses with only a few books), games, or almost anything else. You can do signings, sales, (non-messy) demos, or just chat to people from your table. Vendors may quietly play music at the table. The Corner is not intended to be a substitute for getting a table in the Dealers Room.
The hours of the tables are:
- Fri 5-9 pm
- Sat 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
- Sun 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
Table Specifications and Pricing
We are planning on having nine 6' x 2.5' tables, with two table size options available:
- Full Table (6’ x 2.5’)
- Half Table (3’ x 2.5’)
Please note: The price of a table does not include a membership.
- No storage options are available for the space this year, so you must pack up your items each night or risk them getting stolen/damaged.
- The space will be open and available to set up an hour before opening each day.
Creators' Corner participants may sell directly to attendees, using whatever methods you wish (e.g. Paypal, Square). You are responsible for collecting and reporting appropriate MA sales taxes.
Under MA state law, we are required to get MA tax IDs from each vendor at Arisia. This includes Corner participants, even if what they are selling is tax-free. Please see How to Apply for a Massachusetts Sales Tax ID for further information. In addition, our Tax Czarina is willing to assist any vendors with the process. Her email is @email.
Payment can be made via our online form. Please do not make a payment until after you've been accepted.
